Dr. Burruel acquired her Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Master of Counseling, and Doctorate of Behavioral Health from Arizona State University. She has over a decade of professional behavioral and mental health experience including executive leadership, clinical supervision, and direct care in both nonprofit agency and private practice settings. Dr. Burruel is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), and an approved clinical supervisor with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners (AZBBHE) since 2013.
Dr. Burruel has provided clinical supervision and mentoring for several counselors who successfully obtained their independent licensure. She has also supervised masters level counseling interns for Arizona State University and Grand Canyon University .

Clint acquired a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at High Point University and a Master's degree in Family Therapy from Mercer University School of Medicine. He has five years of professional behavioral and mental health experience including direct care and management in outpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, and community settings. Clint is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and a Clinical Fellow with the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT).
Prior to entering the field, he worked at the university level in higher education providing oversight and guidance to students working toward their bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees. Clint has continued to serve on a research team that produces publications regarding the intersection of health and mental health throughout his professional career.

He specializes in working with adults and adolescents 16 years and older on issues surrounding relationships and family conflict, anxiety, life transitions, grief and loss, trauma, identity, and sexuality.
